Sound Archive

The large sound archive collection includes:

  • The tape archive of BBC Radio Shetland. (Permission must be sought in advance to access this collection.)
  • The tape archive of Dr Tom Anderson (teacher and musician): includes musical recordings and interviews. 
  • Oral history interviews with about 500 Shetlanders on a variety of topics.
