The museum galleries contain over 3,000 artefacts which introduce Shetland's story through 12 themed zones. Throughout these zones you will also find interactive displays and children's activities as well as reconstructions - such as the traditional 18th centuary Shetland house complete with a model of the indigenous, and now extinct, Shetland Pig.
